(September 2017 – Islip, NY)  Legislator Tom Cilmi (R – Bay Shore) presented a check for $1,300 to Mondays at Racine Foundation founders Cynthia Sansone (right) and Rachel DeMolfetto (left).  They were joined by Foundation Board members and staff.

For the last seven years, Legislator Cilmi has hosted an annual charity wing-eating contest, the proceeds of which go to the charity of the winner’s choice. Brian Rose ate for Mondays at Racine, setting a new “Wing Fling” record of 35 wings in 3 minutes, overtaking five other contestants who ate for a variety of other charities.

“Mondays at Racine” provides free beauty and spa treatments for cancer patients at Racine Salon in Islip and other locations across Long Island.
